Pastor Rickeno R. Moncur, a native of New Providence, was born on February 21st, 1984, from humble beginnings in a single-parent home, he experienced the grace of God through many challenges, and today, he is a quintessential millennial leader; one who many would describe as wise beyond his years. He is a prolific declarer of the word, leadership cultivator, spiritual father, mentor, agent of change, advocate of excellence, atmosphere shifter and life-giver.
For more than 20 years, having begun preaching at the age of 14, Pastor Rickeno R. Moncur has helped thousands of people find life and purpose through his dynamic and charismatic ministry both in the Bahamas and North America.
In June 2001, Pastor Moncur entered full time ministry at the Agape Church where he served faithfully as Minister of Youth under the stellar leadership of Bishop Helen McPhee. He holds diplomas of Theology and Psychology and continues in pursuit of higher education and remains on the cutting edge of ministry.
For many years, he has served in various leadership capacities and has received numerous awards including, Pacesetter in Religion for two consecutive years. Under the distinguished leadership of His Grace, Bishop Neil C. Ellis; Presiding Bishop of the Global United Fellowship, he now serves as Executive Assistant to the Bahamas’ Provincial Leader. His service to God and to this country has landed him on the board, as Director of the Bridge Authority, and the Co-Host of Current Affairs Radio Talk Show Glory 93.9FM, “One on One” with Bishop Denczil Rolle.
In November 2007, at the age of 23, Pastor Moncur was ordained and installed as one of the youngest Pastors in the Bahamas for The Word of Life Kingdom Ministries. He is the now Senior Pastor of the Mount Tabor Church; a vibrant, growing, and life-giving organization that is transforming lives and making a difference. His greatest motivation in life, is seeing people’s lives changed and impacted.
